What has it been--a year? No, about nine months. I have returned!
Since last year, I have become more interested in writing, so I will probably upload things accordingly. I also did not finish the book The Tomorrow Code (see last journal entry) until recently (I am so slow at reading) and it is somewhat grim, for the record.
I am also done arguing with YouTube's "Kirby account hackers," of course, because there is no point in arguing with people who cannot even see you.
Finally, looking around, no one has made much progress in the 100 Themes Challenge. Correct me if I am wrong.

I've been off of deviantART for a while, probably because I have this thing called "school". Heard of it? So now that I'm busy, I'll log in maybe every week. Yeah. Well, this is short.

It was taking too long, and only two people actually care, apparently. Category 3, "both", wins with a whopping total of 2 votes! This is kind of sad, but now I can start writing!

Wait a moment, this test is so screwed up! There are so many stereotypes in the boy section. Oh right, that's the point of the quiz. Whatever. I will fix this and post a new version for people to copy that not only works, but is neater and more clear/specific. Who knows how many people this went through before it got here? So, that's on the to-do list as of now!

Question: What style of writing should I use? I've noticed that people do a screenplay-like format usually, but also regular.

1) Regular (Prose)
Example:
"Hi," Person A said.
"Hi," Person B replied. "Hey, do you ever get the feeling you exist solely to be an example for others?"
"You mean, like a role model?"
"No. I mean like a badly written and unimaginative writing example." Person B was then hit by a flaming lightningbolt for complaining about the quality of his written existance. Person A was shocked, but not surprised, given that, in any context, that statement could possibly make any sense.
"...At least that wasn't me!" he said happily. Then he walked away.

2) Screenplay
Example:
Person A: "Hi."
Person B: "Hi. Hey, do you ever get the feeling you exist solely to be an example for others?"
Person A: "You mean, like a role model?"
Person B: "No. I mean like a badly written and unimaginative writing example." Gets hit by flaming lightningbolt
Person A: "...At least that wasn't me!" Walks away

I would actually prefer regular writing, but don't let that affect your decision.

3) Prose / Screenplay
This isn't a combination of both, but a "compromise", so to speak. Basically, I use Prose for most writing because it is more specific, but for random/irrelevant things, I will use the screenplay style.
